There are also costs for viewing and downloading copies of court cases. For the first five pages of a document, you’ll pay $1 per page. There is a fee of $0.40 per page for each additional page you view. $40 is the maximum amount of charges you’ll receive for each document.

How Do You Search for Your Case?

If you do not have a case number, you can research the criminal court records on the Sacramento court’s public access site. However, there is a small fee for each name search. You can also search the same documents in person at no additional cost. The option to submit a local criminal record search request/response form is also available in person or by mail. Each request will cost $15.

Naturally, locating your case is easier if you have the exact case number. Whether in person, over the phone, or through the mail, you’ll find your claim more efficiently if you have a case number.
